Fostering
We are always in need of foster homes. Fostering involves you taking a Weimaraner into your home and caring for him/her. This is an excellent way for the dogs to get socialized and prepared to go to their forever home. It helps us to know more about a particular so that we can place them in the right home.
Fosters are responsible for caring for the dog, teaching house manners (if they need it), trips to the vet, if needed. Rescue pays the vet bills and we only ask that you provide food. We provide collars, leashes and crates. You can also take the foster dogs to daycare at DogWatch Doggie Day Care, free of charge (if you adopt the dog, DogWatch is no longer free of charge).
Donations
Donations are always welcome and needed.
We are a non-profit organization and the only way we can continue to help these wonderful dogs is by tax deductible donations.
Transports & Volunteering at Events
We often need volunteers to transport dogs from one part of the state to another.Since several of our dogs spend time being boarded at DogWatch, it is so good for them to have someone come get them and take them for a walk. Just an afternoon away and getting some one on one time with a person can be so healthy for rescue dog.
Want to help at adoption events, walking dogs or anything in between? We post our opportunities on "Give Pulse." Click the link below to find out more.
